Huvafen Fushi is a stylish retreat nestled within its own private lagoon on the North Malé Atoll. The designer chic accommodation has either direct beach or water access. It is comprised of bungalows and pavilions which are well-appointed and feature state of-the-art technology, a private sundeck and plunge pool with a personal 24-hour butler service.
With plenty of options to choose from, guests can enjoy fine fish at the open kitchen, ‘Salt’, a signature Japanese restaurant serving cuisine with Latin twist, healthy cuisine at ‘Raw’, all-day casual dining at ‘Celsius’ with its white sand deck and traditional wood-fire pizzas under a canopy of coconut trees at Forno.
Additional facilities at Huvafen Fushi include a freshwater pool, an over-water gym, yoga pavilion as well as land and water-based activities. This resort has a range of room types to suit your budget and party size.
Facing the pristine lagoon with direct access to the beach, the Beach Bungalows offer overhead fan, espresso machine, private bar, Botega Veneta amenities, daybed, safe, IDD telephone – Bang & Olufsen IDD telephone, plasma screen, Bang & Olufsen Bluetooth speaker and a sumptuous deck overlooking the beach with daybed and dining table. The private courtyard houses an oversized bath, freshwater plunge pool, waterfall shower and outdoor daybed.
These Bungalows with their split-level layout lead into the tropical waters and feature a private deck with sala and a separate sunbathing deck with panoramic views. Your Bang & Olufsen Bluetooth speaker with its plasma screen has speakers throughout. Listen to your favourite tunes in your freshwater pool or free-standing bath cantilevered over the Indian Ocean.
In addition to the offerings of the Beach Bungalows, the Deluxe Beach Bungalows have a much larger outdoor living area. The front timber deck is ideal for lying back and watching the flying fish. Laze on your daybed or sun loungers while enjoying the tropical scenery. Out in your private courtyard a larger plunge pool is perfect for relaxing. These bungalows offer extremely spacious living with an array of exquisite fabrics and an even more selective range of designer furnishings.
The aptly named Ocean Bungalows look towards the vast Indian Ocean for miles and miles. Exploring your three-tier deck, you find a freshwater infinity pool, dining area, alluring daybed and sunbathing terrace. The living room, featuring a plasma and Bang & Olufsen Bluetooth speaker, is easily transformed from state-of-the-art theatrette to soothing massage room with glass floors for viewing the pristine waters below. Post massage, sink into your oversized Jacuzzi bath and lose yourself in the endless shades of blue stretching toward the horizon.
Set 200 metres out over the Indian Ocean, these stunning Pavilions face the sunset and are the last word in pampered luxury. Privacy is assured as access to these wooden walkways is only for Pavilion residents. Your private fibre-optic lit infinity pool flows from the indoors out and blends with the horizon. The master bedroom is open plan. An infinity edge Kohler bath that fills from the ceiling forms the centrepiece, while a hydro body spa shower is pure indulgence. A second bedroom with plasma and direct access to its own outdoor deck completes each Pavilion. A dedicated Thakuru is on call 24 hours a day.
The Beach Pavilion is pure indulgence with its avant-garde design and private beach. The master bedroom on the upper floor offers views through your glass floor down to the infinity pool as well as straight out through your floor-to-ceiling glass window to the lagoon. Venture down a stairwell to your outdoor oasis with open-air shower and gardens nestling your oversized bath.
The second bedroom has its own indoor/outdoor bathroom with rain shower and separate outdoor deck. The dining room overlooks the entry ponds. An expansive fibre-optic lit pool flows inside-out from the Pavilion.
A central living area offers a Bang & Olufsen Bluetooth speaker with plasma screen, designer fittings and unlimited luxuries. A Thakuru, or personal butler, is on call 24 hours a day throughout your stay.
