Located on the 9th floor, this 1200 square foot / 111 square meter one bedroom (1,250 square feet / 116 square meters including the terrace), two bathroom penthouse suite is perfect for entertaining a small group of friends. The suite features unique vintage pieces, honed travertine floors throughout, a built-in bar, dining room that seats up to six people, sunroom den with a gold vintage inspired desk leading to a private outside terrace overlooking the Atlantic coastline. Organic petrified wood stump accent tables across sit on a faux zebra skin rug and vintage metallic chairs and couch complete the living room décor adjacent to the bedroom. The living room is separated from the master bedroom by sliding doors which can be pulled together for complete privacy. The master bathroom is adorned with floor to ceiling mirrors creating a dramatic effect surrounding the marble soaking tub which sits in the middle of the large bathroom.

The top floor of the tallest building on Ocean Drive is home to the 2,000 square foot / 185 square meter signature Tides Suite (2,600 square foot / 241 square meter with rooftop terrace), 360 degree vistas of South Beach and downtown Miami abound. A soft monochromatic color palette combined with vintage one-of-a-kind pieces furnish this two-bedroom, two and a half bath suite. The suite features a dramatic vintage dining room set for eight people, living room, den, large kitchen featuring full size sub-zero fridge, microwave, electric stove top and a private 600sq foot rooftop terrace with a built-in teak framed outside standing shower and soaking tub and lounge furniture for entertaining or sunbathing. The master wing of the suite offers a king bed and is separated from the living and dining room by a series of mirrored sliding doors to provide complete privacy for entertaining. The second bedroom with a queen bed is located off of the dining room area and can be closed off for complete privacy. All windows throughout the suite are double-paned for maximum views and ensured serenity.

The Tides suite offers a wireless controller to provide “zone” specific musical choices through the suite through the use of state-of-the-art sonos & zonos technology.

La Marea restaurant and bar at King and Grove Tides has earned the epithet “South Beach’s Living Room”. Enjoy dramatic ocean views over a casual lunch on the Terrace, intimate cocktails at Coral Bar and sophisticated dining inside our ground floor restaurant.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served seven days a week. Hotel guests can also enjoy poolside lunch, snacks and cocktails and twenty-four hour room service.
