A Luxurious Adults Only Boutique Hotel Perfect for Couples and Honeymooners
Veranda Paul et Virginie Hotel & Spa is a charming couples hotel on the north-east coast of Mauritius, close to Grand-Gaube fishing village.
Inspired by the romance of France, this adults-only boutique haven boasts three stunning pools – including an infinity pool with vistas extending over the northern islets – and luxury sea-view rooms.
The small cove-style beach is the ideal setting for a candlelit dinner, whilst the wellness spa has a variety of sumptuous couples’ treatments.
Guests stay in beautiful accommodation, with each of the 81 rooms filled with light, bright décor and incredible sea views. All rooms boast sea views and if you choose the largest rooms, the Privilege Rooms, you also receive upgraded amenities, including one free catamaran trip and a dinner at the a la carte restaurant.
Complimentary activities include non-motorised watersports, such as windsurfing, snorkelling and stand-up paddle boarding; tennis; beach volleyball; gym access and a shuttle to nearby Grand Baie twice a week. For a small charge, cycling, diving, fishing and boat trips are also available.
As the hotel is located in a traditional fishing village, guests are encouraged to explore the local area and to experience its Creole culture and people. Whether you rent a bike (or tandem), try your hand at fishing from a typical pirogue boat, tuck into a delicious lunch at a local home, or take part in a Creole cookery lesson, your luxury Mauritius holiday will be one to remember.
Meals and beverages can be enjoyed at the main open-air buffet restaurant or at the a la carte restaurant, whilst there is also a place to enjoy coffee, crepes and light bites throughout the day. What’s more, if staying in your room is more appealing, not to worry, because breakfast can be served in your room, too.
Offering complete escapism and serenity within an upscale Mauritius resort, couples, honeymooners and newlyweds will be seduced by this tropical island Eden.
