All of the suites at Carlisle Bay Antigua benefit from calm, spacious interiors, bespoke furniture, luxurious silks, crisp white linen and modern amenities. The private balcony or terrace offer sweeping ocean views and feature a day bed for added comfort and luxury.
With three outstanding restaurants, ‘Indigo on the Beach’ offers delicious healthy grills and seafood, ‘East’ serves an exciting Asian menu and ‘Ottimo!’ caters for classic Italian dishes and wood-fired pizzas.
Leisure activities at Carlisle Bay include the Blue Spa with six treatment rooms and a state-of-the-art gym, nine tennis courts and non-motorised water sports including windsurfing, kayaking, sailing and snorkelling. Golf and motorised water sports can be arranged nearby. Families are well catered for with supervised kid’s and teen activities.
Some of the facilities and restaurants are seasonal.
Carlisle Bay Garden Suites
Spacious, split-level, open plan bedroom/sitting room. Garden Suites have king-size beds and sleep up to two adults. Garden Suites have lush, tropical garden views and partial ocean views.
Carlisle Bay Ocean Suites
Ocean Suites are spacious with an open plan bedroom/sitting room. They have a king-size bed and sleep up to two adults.
Carlisle Bay Suites
Carlisle Suites have three en-suite double bedrooms, two with king-size beds and one with twin beds, plus a sitting room and kitchen. Carlisle Suites sleep up to six adults or can take up to two adults and four children. Carlisle Suite B has a large wrap around balcony.
Carlisle Bay Beach Suites
With half the 500m crescent beach designed for families and the other half for adults and couples, Carlisle Bay allows everyone to enjoy a perfect getaway. Located on the family half of the resort, our Beach Suites come with a studio-style king-bedded master bedroom with direct views of the bay and a second bedroom with twin beds so you do not need a second suite.
Our Beach Balcony Suites are upper-level suites with a second bedroom with twin beds, making the rooms appropriate for two adults and two children (aged from 6 to 15), with cribs available for babies. The balcony of the master bedroom looks towards the beach.
Our Beach Terrace Suite rooms are positioned on the ground level to provide direct beach access. The configuration is the same as the Beach Balcony Suites - with a second twin bedroom accommodating children up to the age of 15 (cribs are available for babies). The ease of stepping out on to the sand is what makes these rooms stand out.
Carlisle Bay Blue Spa
The Blue Spa is a large facility with six treatment rooms, including a couple’s treatment room and a wet room, a treatment range from Natura Bissé, a sauna, plunge pools,a hair salon, juice bar and state-of-the-art gymnasium withTechnogym equipment and a team of personal trainers.
There are nine tennis courts, four which are floodlit. Rackets, shoes and a ball machine are complimentary. Professional tuition is available for all ages and all standards, as group lessons or privately.
A variety of non-motorised water sports are available including Hobi cat sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and snorkelling. Local boat excursions and snorkelling trips are organised to local reefs.
Scuba diving activities, managed by a group of experienced PADI professionals, are available for thenovice to the experienced diver on Cades Reef, only five minutes by boat.
Cool Kids Club
A purpose-built, fully equipped facility with large shaded terrace, jungle gym, sandpit, paddling pool and four mini tennis courts. The club is open to children from six months to twelve years old, Monday to Sunday from 8.30am to 12.30pm and 1.15pm to 4.15pm. There is no charge for children aged from three years, rates of $15 per hour plus service and tax for babies and toddlers.
The hotel has three bars including the relaxing Indigo on the Beach Bar with juices, afternoon tea and cocktails, the Pavilion Bar opposite East with piano or jazz music every evening and the informal Jetty Bar with views along the beach.
East is open for dinner only serving exciting pan-Asian food in a stunning contemporary setting.
