Enjoy a luxurious holiday in Italy.

Chia Laguna is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the wild and unspoilt coast of south-west Sardinia.

Golden sand dunes, coloured by the green of the typical Mediterranean shrub, stretch as far as the eye can see into the crystal-clear waters of the sea, and behind, splashes of pink highlight the vivid lagoons, home of the pink flamingos.

The Chia Laguna resort boasts four hotels, two of which we feature – the family-friendly Hotel Chia Village, which comprises of a cluster of beautiful cottages, and the magnificent five-star Hotel Laguna.

All stays at both hotels include half-board. The main restaurant at Hotel Laguna, La Terrazza, is open to guests of both hotels, whilst the Bougainville offers a buffet of local and national dishes, exclusively for Hotel Chia Village guests. Also in the village is Bimbi, the dedicated children’s restaurant. If you join the Dine Around programme, you can also enjoy eating at the other restaurants that make up the resort.

The Chia cottage rooms are but a few steps from the Chia Laguna’s main facilities: the main swimming pool, the restaurants, the children’s club, the shuttle train to the beach, the lively Piazza degli Ulivi, the new Fitness Centre, and is also within a short walk from the Chia entertainment and show area.

Days can be spent enjoying the myriad facilities, such as horse-riding, watersports and excursions. The children can head to the children’s club for a fun-filled few hours, whilst you relax in the spa, go diving, or relax poolside with a cocktail. New for 2019 is a football academy and a dance academy. Alternatively, the whole family can spend the day at the beach where’s there’s plenty of sun-kissed fun to be had. Chia Laguna’s private beaches are unparalleled, with ancient rock formations and soft sand dunes. What’s more, the magnificent on-site Piazza is awash with fabulous boutiques for shopping and is also where the evening entertainment is hosted.

Accommodation types

Hotel Laguna has 82 rooms with stunning terraces overlooking the Chia bay, full of stunning pink flamingos, rolling sand dunes and azure sea, whilst the Chia Village accommodation features pretty cottages, surrounded by green Mediterranean landscaped gardens. These are perfect for families.

Modern and welcoming, the Superior Rooms offer a comfortable sleeping area and a bathroom with bathtub and/or shower. The rooms have terraces or balconies with partial sea view, some overlooking the resort. Ideal for couples, these rooms can also accommodate free of charge, on request at time of reservation, a cot for children up to three years of age. Amenities include: air-conditioning, TV with satellite channels, mini-bar and hairdryer.

Accommodates: 2 adults and 1 baby.

The Deluxe rooms offer enchanting views of the sea and the lagoon. Spacious, each room has a furnished terrace or small garden. Amenities include: air-conditioning, TV with satellite channels, mini-bar and hairdryer.

The exclusive Suites and Junior Suites are designed as roomy and airy open spaces, with the living area and the sleeping area joined together in a single refined environment. Spacious and light-filled, the Garden Suite and the Garden Junior Suites offer marvellous views of the lagoon and the sea of Chia. Each room has a private garden with a private Jacuzzi. Amenities include: air-conditioning, TV with satellite channels, mini-bar and hairdryer.

The Classic Cottage rooms of the Village hotel, set amidst Mediterranean bushes, have most rooms on the upper floor, overlooking the village. There is an en-suite bathroom with shower (some also with bathtub). Some rooms have a balcony. Amenities include: air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, safe and mini-bar.

The Garden Cottage rooms are on the ground floor: each has a small garden with coffee-table and chairs. There is an en-suite bathroom with shower (some also with bathtub). Amenities include: air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, safe and mini-bar.

The Superior Cottage rooms at the Village hotel, with their charming interior decor, are bright and light-filled. The patio doors lead onto the private garden, furnished with coffee-table and chairs. There is an en-suite bathroom with shower (some also with bathtub). Amenities include: air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, safe and mini-bar.

Comfort and practicality mark out the Village hotel’s family rooms. The rooms have a mezzanine floor with internal staircase, making up the children’s area. Many rooms also have a second bathroom. Connecting rooms are also available as an alternative. Amenities include: air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, safe and mini-bar.

Dune di Campana beach is fine white sand bordered by dunes, and just 700 metres from the hotel. Hotel Laguna guests have a dedicated area reserved at the beach, which can be reached by a convenient shuttle service available to guests during the day. Suites and Garden Suites have beach umbrellas and sunbeds reserved in the first row.

Junior Suites and Garden Junior Suites have beach umbrellas and sunbeds reserved in the second row. Other room categories have beach service from the third row onwards. First and second row beach services can be reserved when booking at an additional cost. Splash in the crystal-clear waters of the beach bordered by ancient juniper trees and lagoons or sunbathe in peace.

The Chia Natural Spa offers a number of unique face and body treatments designed to revitalise and de-stress. A Turkish bath, sauna and sensory showers further relax and detoxify. Hydrotherapy pools in the gardens are soothing. Chia Natural Spa use products of Eteria by Fonteverde and [Comfort Zone].

Is Molas Golf Club is located 20 kilometres from Chia Laguna, which plays host to the Italian International Open tournament.
