Like the tip of a diamond, our eight magnificent Lake View Deluxe Rooms (located at the corners of the Palace) offer stunningly beautiful views over the Riviera delle Azalee and Lake Como. The rooms are flooded with joy and light thanks to two wonderful floor-to-ceiling windows, one of which opens onto the delightful balcony: the ideal place to relax and take in the charming scenery. A tribute to the style of Princess Carlotta, this outstanding suite on the second floor of The Palace reigns like a queen over beautiful Lake Como and its ever-changing spectacle. A spacious and inviting wood-panelled foyer leads into the drawing room, which is elegantly separated from the bedroom by two graceful arches. The marble bathroom features a shower and whirlpool tub, offering spectacular views over the Lake. Named after one of the Great Ladies of the owner’s family, Suite Aurelia pays homage to her timeless elegance, displaying some of her personal collection of antiques. This magnificent historical suite, situated on the third floor of Grand Hotel Tremezzo, offers a delightful panoramic view of the lake and the picturesque village of Bellagio surrounded by green hills and steep mountains. Honey coloured wood floor, antique furniture and dark golden curtains contribute to create a warm and welcoming surrounding in the spacious foyer and in the intimate bedroom both overlooking the lake. Size: 50 sq meters / 540 sq feet.

The most tender, delicate gem in our collection and an elegant tribute to everyone in love. Charm and tenderness abound in this magnificent fourth floor suite, where the atmosphere is both traditional and romantic, as light as a tulle veil. In the centre of the bedroom stands a romantic four-poster bed looking out over the lake, filling your eyes with every shade of blue the moment you awake. Just as stunning is the red Verona marble bathroom, complete with a perfect round whirlpool bath in the centre. Grand Hotel Tremezzo’s most important historic suite is inspired by the regal charisma of one of Hollywood’s greatest actresses. Located on the first floor of the Palace, the magnificent Suite Greta has one bedroom, two bathrooms and a living area. Beautifully finished with fine marble, the master bathroom has a central whirlpool bath: settling back in the bubbling water is the ideal way to enjoy the backdrop of the Lake. The Suite’s real bonus is its superb terrace, from where Guests can take in the marvellous sight of the tip of Bellagio rising from the water. Size: 80 sq meters / 860 sq feet + 26 sq meters / 280 sq feet private terrace.

There is nothing more exclusive than a stay at Suite Emilia, the most recent suite of the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, located in the 18th century Villa Emilia and featuring a private access to the exclusive T Spa. Boasting a classic but yet contemporary style, Suite Emilia features delicate colours in the shades of green, light blue and grey. The princely bathroom, luxuriously realised in Lasa marble features a steam bath, a double rainshower and an oversized Jacuzzi located in the centre of the room. The two wings of the Hotel’s top floor are something akin to heaven. Furnished with period and contemporary pieces and boasting sumptuous bathrooms, the three Junior Suites have a stunning master bedroom and living area which opens out onto a spectacular private terrace with side views over Lake Como, looking towards Bellagio or Balbianello. The floating pool is a sparkling oasis resting on the lake’s surface. A crystal-clear swimming pool set in the blue of the lake, for an unforgettable bathing experience looking over at Bellagio. You can almost touch it. Water on water, blue on blue.

Immersed in the peace and tranquillity of the park and its profusion of colour, the Piscina dei Fiori (the pool among the flowers) is the perfect place to relax and let time go by. Around the pool stand age-old trees and an abundance of Riviera palms which thrive in the special microclimate. There are tulips and flowers of every type, from which the pool takes its name. This pool could only have one name…  It’s the quietest spot in the hotel, tucked away but still affording beautiful views of the lake. Lie back and take the sun, sip on a fruit juice or cocktail throughout the day or sample tasty bites at a poolside table at T Pizza.

In the sanctum of the T Spa, the indoor infinity swimming pool (15 m x 2,75 m) is a strip of azure, ultra pure energy. Two parallel baths linked by a beautiful arched passage give a double infinity effect with the stunning view of Lake Como repeated in the outdoor Jacuzzi and lounge area. One pool right on the lake front seems to enter the lake as if by magic. The other, in its own artificial cavern, remains concealed within T Spa.  Together the two baths offer five different types of Jacuzzi, some hidden away in the private grotto: beds with air bubbles; blade cascades to massage the cervical of the back; water jets and oxygen bubbles from the mosaic bottom of the pool to massage the soles of the feet; hydro massage in the circular lake-front Jacuzzi. And fitness enthusiasts can try swimming against an adjustable current.

Ruy is our very own period Venetian motor launch, perfectly restored to allow you to discover the magic of the lake in exclusive style. A beautiful birthday present for the hotel and for our guests in celebration of 100 years of Grand Hotel Tremezzo.  This splendid craft, with its mahogany hull and slender form, is a unique piece built in 1961 by the celebrated boat makers Cucchini of Venice as a ‘casada’: the private transport typical of the Venetian aristocracy. Rediscovered and lovingly restored with painstaking attention, today Ruy has a second lease of life here on the lake where it has found a suitably elegant home and a new role as a water limousine, providing excursions and a wonderful experience for guests of Grand Hotel Tremezzo.

And we can guarantee our guests, who know exactly what timeless sophistication is all about, that the magic is still the same.

LA TERRAZZA RESTAURANT

The finest and tastiest examples of Italian cuisine, reinterpreted by the Maestro Gualtiero Marchesi together with our Executive Chef Osvaldo Presazzi, served on the loveliest terrace on the whole of Lake Como. The lake takes centre stage on and off the plate, in the food and in the view.  The menu changes with the seasons to take advantage of local produce and fresh water fish, traditional dishes enlivened with a touch of creativity. At sunset the rose tinted Grigne peaks and the twinkling lights of Bellagio offer an unparalleled spectacle. On cooler days and in the evenings “La Terrazza” turns into a cosy conservatory enclosed by huge picture windows so you will never miss the extra enjoyment of the panorama.  And in the morning breakfast is served as the sun rises over Bellagio and a thousand shades of blue dance and dazzle on the water.

L’ESCALE FONDUES & WINE BAR

“L’Escale” was the first Fondue & Wine Bar to open on Lake Como. It’s a restaurant with a difference, a place to enjoy the singular pleasure of an informal meal of meat and fish fondues and grills, accompanied by the best Italian regional wines. The cooking takes place in the centre of the table. Delicious sauces and coloured sea salts (which you may buy to repeat the experience at home) blend on the plate to create new and original flavours…. An authentic creative ritual where the meal becomes an occasion for fun, sharing good food in a spirit of warm conviviality.  In summer supper is served on the lakeside terrace, while in the cooler autumn evenings we move indoors to the cantina, carved into the rock with bare brick walls and wine casks for tables, with more than 400 fine labels selected from every region.

T BAR

The classic, irresistible charm of a luxury hotel bar: a meeting place, luring guests who want to chat or read or just while away a lazy day. And the scene of memorable encounters. A discreetly chic atmosphere with a stunning lakeside terrace. Anytime is a good time, indeed unrepeatable…  By day the “T Bar” offers a light lunch and a limited menu of the Chef’s choicest dishes. Sunset, when the Grigne turn pink and Bellagio begins to light up, is the ideal moment to try a T Cocktail – our barman loves to invent new and surprising concoctions each day. After supper, enjoy a drink in the moonlight, gazing at the lake, by candlelight…

T BEACH

A magic circle which holds a host of new flavours… the centre of the new cuisine at Grand Hotel Tremezzo. Brand new “Onfalos” is a wonderful circular platform which, from next season onwards, will turn our T Beach into a real “gourmet destination for summer”.   Drawing on all the culinary creativity of Gualtiero Marchesi, one of the most innovative names in Italian food and the chef who inspires our Hotel, our new T Beach is just a stone’s throw from the Lake and our magnificent floating swimming pool.  Guests will be able to savour exquisite fish, meat, vegetable and cheese grills (not to mention desserts) which exude the most genuine of flavours. Our chefs will prepare each dish in front of our guests, giving them their own lesson in fine cuisine with a stunning backdrop: the tip of Bellagio as it disappears into the blue.

T PIZZA

“T Pizza” is much, much more than a simple snack bar… A distinctive eating place located by the Piscina dei Fiori pool in the midst of the gardens. Open each day for fantastic grills and a range of pizzas cooked on a wood fire.  Every Monday in summer (when “L’Escale” is closed) “T Pizza” stays open in the evening to offer guests an exciting Pizza Party—a candlelit poolside supper with a special menu including absolutely everything… Definitely not to be missed: since we created the Pizza Party, Monday is everyone’s favourite night of the week!
