It’s line of never-ending white sandy beach stretches 14km along the Mediterranean coast, and with its cool Mediterranean waters as well as a rich history and UNESCO recognised architecture, this city really has it all.

Staying at the Dan Hotel Tel Aviv
Occupying a prime position on the seafront with stunning views overlooking the Mediterranean, Dan Hotel is a great choice when you are wanting a central location in Tel Aviv. This was our main focus when looking for a hotel in Tel Aviv and Dan Hotel seemed to have everything on our list. The rooms at the hotel have recently been renovated and have gorgeous view of the sea. The staff at the hotel were excellent, they went the extra mile for us during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed.
The food and drink onsite at the hotel were great, they had plenty of options to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The standard of each of the dishes we tasted at the hotel were very high and we were happy with everything. The hotels restaurant has plenty of options if you are wanting to try modern Israeli cuisine, plenty of Mediterranean dishes are also available. You can tell that everything was made fresh and prepared with local produce.
Making the most of the facilities
The hotels pools are a great option for when you want a bit of a lazy day. The large outdoor swimming pool is a saltwater pool, open from May till October. Whereas the heated indoor pool is open year-round. There is also a fitness centre open for guests to use free of charge.
The Location
The location of this hotel really made the overall holiday, being so central made exploring each day so much easier. Easy access to the beach right opposite the hotel was also a bonus. Being right in the centre of the city means there was always something to see and do. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby making your options never ending. From the daytime till night the streets where always full of people.
You are close enough to the touristy spots to make sure you visit all the right places. A visit to Old Jaffa is about a 15-minute taxi or about 40-minute walk along the beachfront.
What made this hotel special?
Watching the sunset each evening from our hotel room was perfect. Looking out over the beach and the sea, and watching people disappear slowly as the sun stared to go down. The views from the room were amazing, relaxing here after a busy day was the perfect way to end the evening.
