Accommodation types
Anantara MAIA Seychelles Villas has a range of room types to suit your budget and party size.
Signature Villas are all completely secluded from one other. Here reclusive couples can unreservedly let their guard down. Unprecedented levels of privacy are graced by spectacular ocean views, whether your villa is perfectly poised on the hilltop or offers direct access to a ‘secret’ beach.
A complimentary bottle of Champagne celebrates your arrival. A newspaper of your choice delivered daily makes you feel at home. Laundry services are complimentary, along with daily aqua gym classes in your private pool, a manicure and pedicure in the privacy of your villa and a painting kit for you to express the creative urge that will be inspired by the beauty that surrounds you.
Gentle rolling waves break on the white sands of a private beach, leading up to green lawns and tropical gardens that make your Ocean Front Villa feel like a private paradise. Perfectly secluded from each other, Ocean Front Villas put your toes a few feet from the Indian Ocean. At the same time, they are ideal for families. Families can book villas next to each other for easy get-togethers like scrumptious seafood beach bbq personally prepared by the chef.
Atop the hillcrest of our private peninsula, Ocean Panoramic Villas will stun you with spectacular 180-degree vistas of the sparkling Indian Ocean. Lush surroundings provide a privacy perfect for honeymooners.
Against the slopes of our peninsula, Ocean View Villas nestle amid lush tropical vegetation and overlook the private Anse Louis beach, Maia’s dining area and a majestic pool that sparkles crystal clear blue by day, lit by the flames of red-orange fires by night.
Hotel highlights
Find out what makes Anantara MAIA Seychelles Villas special. Here are some of our personal highlights.
Bird song. Waters falling down moss covered granite rocks. Gentle winds brushing leaves. These will be the only things to break your revere in our Balinese-style Spa.
Three individual, private open-air pavilions are separated from each other by natural rock formations. Each spacious 120m2 pavilion features its own garden, changing rooms and showers.
Besides world-class therapy and beauty treatments using La Prairie products, our highly trained staff can offer you more than just skin-deep relief by guiding you through accompanied yoga, self-Shiatsu and Qi Gong sessions.
The fitness centre provides the latest “Excite” equipment and a Kinesis wall. Privately trained therapists offer intuitive massages and an assortment of packages, including special Kids Only treatments such as the banana leaf wrap with hydrating gel for sunburn.
Maia is child-friendly and family-friendly. We keep children entertained with a diverse range of ‘Very Important Kids’ (VIK) activities and menus that suit their tastes.
For younger children there’s sand castle building, accompanied swimming lessons with toys and snorkelling in the pool, as well as painting and colouring sessions. For teenagers, activities can include treasure hunts, group canoe trips, volley-ball and movies. Upon request, an activity programme can be personalised for your children by arrangement with Maia’s Recreational Team – and at any time during your stay, your personal butler will care for and entertain your children too.
Turn a simple kayaking and snorkeling trip into a decadent experience by washing the salty waters of the Indian Oceans from your mouth with the bubbles of a perfectly chilled Champagne, while you float upon undulating waves.
The crystal clear aquamarine waters surrounding the Maia peninsula are reserved only for the pleasure of non-motorised watersports such as canoeing, kayaking and snorkeling – ensuring your experience of paradise is undisturbed by the sound of a boat engine, unless of course, one of our luxury leisure crafts throttles in softly to take you to another Seychelles experience.
The Beau Vallon aquatic water sports centre in the North of Mahé provides a variety of motorised and non-motorised watersports, including parasailing, skiing, jet skiing, paddle skiing, windsurfing and banana rides. Instruction on Hobie cats, windsurfing and waterskiing is also available.
With a temperate climate with no clear distinction between summer and winter, Mahé is an easy-going island, where locals have developed a unique and wonderful lifestyle. There is much to do – like explore the local markets in the town centre, full of charming Seychelles style and trends, take a leisurely visit to the museum or national archives, stroll through the botanical gardens or tea plantation, visit public buildings or dine in the local Creole restaurants.
Nature lovers will delight in a scenic walk (or perhaps a more energetic jog) through forests to nearly waterfalls, up mountains and along vast stretches of beach, be thrilled by horseback rides or celebrate the ocean by having a picnic aboard a Catamaran or indulging in a beach barbeque.
At Maia, you have complete freedom to dine in the privacy of your own villa with a meal organised by your personal butler. Maia’s kitchens uphold a policy of flexibility for dining beyond the regular menu and times to satiate individual requirements and tastes. So, wherever and whenever you choose to dine at Maia, and whatever you wish to savour our professional staff will be on hand to grant your wishes, subject to produce being available. Maia’s culinary team focuses on ‘haute light cuisine’ for guests seeking low-calorie options. Intuitive and highly trained, Maia’s multi-lingual staff unobtrusively provide matchless service to enhance each superb dining experience to its fullest.
