The castle, which in the past has hosted royalty, film stars and politicians, has been lovingly restored and transformed into a wonderful hotel, maintaining stunning features and artefacts such as ceramic tiled floors and wooded beams.
When it comes to activities, Castello di Casole has plenty to keep every guest occupied. The magnificent heated infinity pool overlooks breathtaking countryside, and is ideal for a refreshing dip in the hot sunshine.
The resort also has 25 acres of organic vineyards and 30-acres of olive groves, which are a pleasure to stroll through. Being a Model Game Reserve, guests can even hike on the footpaths, spotting pheasant, deer and hare.

Belmond Castello di Casole’s accommodation features a small collection of rooms and suites, each featuring original antique details alongside modern furnishings and finishes.
The 37 to 44 square-metre double rooms have a king-size or two twin beds, and a spacious en-suite bathroom. Amenities include: WiFi, luxury toiletries, nightly turndown, TV and DVD

The Deluxe and Executive Junior Suites are 45 to 65 square-metres, with a king-size or twin beds, a spacious en-suite bathroom, and a cosy lounge with sofa. Amenities include: WiFi, one lunch for two per stay, daily buffet breakfast, luxury toiletries, nightly turndown, TV and DVD player.

The restaurants at Belmond Castello di Casole serve simple yet delicious rustic cuisine that
blends Italian tradition with modern innovation.
Cip’s by Cipriani is known for its exceptional
seafood, home-made pasta and fresh garden produce, and for an enchanting experience,
the resort’s floating table in the ancient forest is a unique dining experience where couples can enjoy canapés and aperitifs under the light of the moon.
At the heart of the hilltop estate is Essere Spa, housed in what was once the wine cellar. Guests can enjoy luxury treatments using local Tuscan ingredients, such as rosemary, grapes and olive oil, and sumptuous products from Carita by L’Oreal.
As well as seven treatment rooms, there is a couple’s treatment suite with deep soaking bath, a private outdoor garden for yoga, and steam rooms.
The hotel has a range of excellent cultural excursions exploring the local area. These
include: a driving tour visiting the art parks; photography tours, cookery classes and truffle
hunting.
