With so much change to international travel it can be difficult to know where to start when you’re looking to plan your next holiday. Knowing where you can travel and what requirements are needed is key to enabling you to book a holiday with minimum fuss and travel to your chosen destination safely.

Green list holiday destinations...

Quartine-Free travel back to England. You must however take a pre-departure test and fulfill a Covid-19 test within two days of your return back into the country.

Amber list holiday destinations...

When travelling from an amber list country you must take a pre-departure test before returning to England and then you must self-isolate for ten days thereafter. During your quarantine you take PCR Covid-19 tests on the second and eighth days. However, you can end self-isolation early if you take an additional negative test on day five.

If you have been double-vaccinated at least fourteen days before arriving in England you will be exempt from quarantine and the need for the PCR Covid-19 test on day eight. Proof of your vaccination status on the NHS app or an NHS letter will be required.

Use the NHS COVID Pass to confirm your vaccination status abroad

Travelling to England checklist

Before returning home from your holiday back to England you will need to:

Complete a pre-departure COVID-19 test (within 3 days before your return)
Check the most up to date red, amber and green list rules on returning to England
Complete the passenger locator form (within 48 hours before your return)
