CHI, The Spa at Shangri-La draws inspiration from the origins of the Shangri-La legend, a place of personal peace, enchantment and well-being.

The main beach is a one-kilometre expanse of warm golden sand washed by the cool turquoise waters of the Gulf of Oman. Down a short path you’ll find Turtle Beach, a smaller, secluded beach at the edge of the mountains.

The main beach offer bathrooms, showers, beach loungers, umbrellas, towels, and bar service with light snacks. The beaches and facilities are for the private use of our guests.

Located in the Al Waha Hotel in the heart of the resort, Cool Zone provides both air-conditioned/indoor and outdoor play areas, both under trained supervision.

Children up to the age of eight years old are welcome to use Cool Zone and in case of children under the age of four years old, they should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The Adventure Zone is an exciting family entertainment venue for all thrill seekers with a variety of modular play areas from Over Under Hurdles, Tumble Tower and Swing Over Net to a climbing wall, soft play areas and daily Nintendo Wii Sports challenges.

Boat trips depart from the dive centre’s own jetty, courses start in the shallow pool and later move to the different dive sites around Bandar Khayran area.

Our fully-equipped Fitness Centre offers stunning views over the beach and out to sea, and includes a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi.

Al Bandar Lobby Lounge

Al Tanoor

Al Tanoor serves the characteristic cuisines of the Arabian Gulf region in a traditional Omani atmosphere. The interior is designed with Arabian tents, pottery and vibrant colours which complement the enticing dishes prepared for you at the open cooking stations.
In addition to Arabian cuisine, the restaurant offers Mediterranean, Persian, Indian and Turkish favourites, as well as a tempting selection of fresh fruits and juices. A la carte dining is also available.
