Luxury Holidays in Kruger National Park, South Africa.
Singita Kruger National Park is situated where two rivers meet, in an exclusive game-rich 33 000-acre concession in the world-renowned Kruger National Park. Boasting the highest concentration of wildlife in the entire park, including the ‘Big 5’, the area is also known for its majestic Mountain Pride of lions and unique Euphorbia trees.
This resort has a range of room types to suit your budget and party size.
Like the Lebombo Euphorbia tree after which it was named, the design of Lebombo Lodge is one of a kind. From the sweeping wooden decks, you can watch the theatre that unfolds before you, while the lap pool beckons to enjoy a relaxing afternoon. The fifteen suites feature contemporary finishes with beds dressed with Egyptian cotton and silky-soft throws. Enjoy dinner in the boma, then spend the evening, if you so wish, sleeping under the stars on the bed of your private terrace.
Sweni Lodge was influenced by the structures of dens, warrens and lairs found in the area. Flanking the Sweni River, this tranquil sanctuary is elevated on stilts with decks of timber. Even when you’re indoors, you’ll have the sensation of being close to the river and trees.
The six secluded suites, with tactile furnishings, have been carefully created to bring in the textures and shades of the bush. Designed with open-plan living in mind, your suite flows from the bathroom area, through to the lounge and into the bedroom – yet if you wish, each area may be sealed off by curtains. Try the outdoor shower overlooking the river or – for a magical experience – ‘camp out’ under the stars on the day bed out on your viewing deck.
Find out what makes this resort special. Here are some of our personal highlights.
The Singita wellness philosophy takes your personal rejuvenation to a level well beyond any pampering you’ve previously experienced. All our peaceful lodge spas, where nature provides its own special brand of calm, present the ultimate escape, sure to restore equilibrium to body and mind.
Whether you’re in need of a cleansing facial, a relaxing deep-tissue massage or a scintillating body polish, our professional therapists will assess your specific needs and offer personalised care through a variety of therapies and skincare treatments using the Dermalogica range. This skincare system has superb products for every skin type.
If all the ‘living it up’ at the lodges motivates you to step up your exercise programme, a visit to one of our fully equipped gyms is just the thing to do – and with views of the bush, you can keep an eye on the action outside while you work out.
At all our lodges we try to tailor each day according to guests’ wishes and so we are flexible with all our activity times. However, due to the climate, we suggest that the following times are followed as closely as possible, in order to maximise game-viewing opportunities and ensure that guests enjoy a comfortable experience.
