Our partnership with The Datai Bay Golf Club ensures that our guests enjoy exclusive benefits. Complimentary shuttles to and from this championship golf course are provided upon request. Please allow our concierge to secure your preferred green time. We are delighted to assist with all related reservations and can even work with guests to organize a tournament (complete with banners and trophies).
At our Kids’ Club, children can meet and enjoy an excellent array of activities including a colourful playroom full of toys (ideal for kids up to 5 years old), a daily movie in our Mini Cinema, a Sony PlayStation®2, X-Box 360, and various daily activities handled by our expert staff.
While parents relax, children are provided with their own personalized adventures. Under the supervision of our Kids’ Club ambassadors, little ones are invited to join scheduled morning and evening trips to the beach where they collect shells and build sandcastles. Poolside, our concierge provides colouring books for creative afternoon bursts.
There is no age requirement if accompanied by parents. If unaccompanied, children must be between 4 and 15 years of age. We ask that children visit the Kids’ Club for no more than 4 consecutive hours. Lunch is available upon request.
The Andaman’s lagoon-style swimming pool is conveniently located alongside the beach. Soaring rainforest trees, a waterslide for the young and young at heart and the ever-popular wading section for toddlers work in symphony to provide an unforgettable poolside experience.
Our Pool Concierge is committed to keeping you happy and refreshed throughout the day. Light snacks and beverages are always available upon request, as are sunglass cleaning services and complimentary bottled water, cold towels, and sunscreen. A range of reading material is also available for all our guests.
Indigenous massage and beauty treatments delivered with deft skill in a serene setting are the cornerstones of every personalized spa service at V Botanical Spa at The Andaman.
The private facilities feature five spaciously designed pavilions with double massage beds and surreal water views. Signature treatments such as The Andaman, a 180-minute spa journey that includes our Ancient Balinese Massage, Himalayan Crystal Body Polish, Aromatherapy Foot Polish, Traditional D’Orient Organic Facial, Asian Style Foot Massage, and Oriental Bathing Ritual prove to be guest favorites. Additional Bathing Ceremonies are also on offer, each one designed to cleanse the body and mind. The romantic Love Bathing Ritual for couples includes champagne and canapes.
Barbeque Terrace

Beach Bar
The Beach Bar opens from 10am and offers guests a comfortable, shaded venue for a light and healthy lunch. The afternoon brings its own set of delights to this casual beachside bar when local fishermen arrive at shore with their daily catch. Guests are encouraged to select a fish for the evening’s meal, which is then prepared according to diners’ preferences. Happy Hour begins at 7pm, where guests can enjoy spectacular sunset and drink specials until 8:30pm.
The Japanese Restaurant
Located on the ground level and overlooking the poolside rainforest, The Japanese Restaurant brings an authentic Japanese menu to the shores of Langkawi each evening. Dine on favorites such as sushi, sashimi, and tempura, as well as a number of a la carte options while watching the colugos (flying lemurs) glide from tree to tree. Two Teppanyaki counters invite guests to share in the excitement of their meal’s preparation. Traditional Tatami Rooms are also available for authentic Japanese dining. The Japanese Restaurant is open for dinner.
The Jentayu Lounge
Located on the Lobby Level, commanding spectacular vistas of the rainforest around the resort and the glistening blue Andaman waters beyond, the Jentayu Lounge is the perfect place to relax during the day with a freshly brewed coffee with a good book or if you simply want to take in the fascinating animal life in the trees.
