The Palace at One&Only Royal Mirage

There are a total of 147 Superior Deluxe Rooms at The Palace, including both Twin and King, and whilst they are contemporary in design and come with the latest in technology, they all feature a tangible Arabian twist. At 45 square metres in size, these rooms are comfortable and have an enhanced open space with neutral tones offset by rich, vibrant shades.

The Palace at the Royal Mirage has 22 Superior Executive Suites that offer 100 square metres of space along with a lounge and dining area with wet bar and espresso machine. An oversized bathroom complete with in-bathroom LCD Television and separate guest restroom all serve to heighten the sense of luxury during your stay.

There are 49 of these and each one has the same design as the Superior Deluxe Room (above) but with a private entrance, DVD player, sitting chair and a writing table with 2 chairs. Guests staying here have access to the Gold Club private lounge and reception area, where they will be treated to a complimentary continental breakfast, afternoon tea and more.

Gold Club Superior Rooms share the same features as the Superior Deluxe Rooms (above).

There a total of 11 Gold Club Suites and these share the design and amenities of the Superior Executive Suites (above), but guests here have a writing desk, a private entrance with lift access plus also access to the Gold Club, offering an exclusive reception and lounge where continental breakfasts, cocktail hours and more can be enjoyed and a team of hosts and round-the-clock receptionists can help make your stay as comfortable as possible.

There are just 2 Royal Suites at The Palace and these are by far the grandest accommodation on offer. With a lavish 325 square metres of space, each one features 2 elegant and beautifully decorated bedrooms with luxurious en suite bathrooms, a separate living room and dining room and a large balcony with stunning views of Palm Island Bay.

Located at the Residence & Spa, this can be used by all guests at the Royal Mirage and plays host to the One&Only Spa, the beauty centre, an Oriental Hammam and a fitness centre. The One&Only Spa has 12 private treatment suites whilst the Beauty Centre features the prestigious Zouari Hair Salon, and the Oriental Hammam – or steam bath, as it is better known in the Western world – provides an ‘oasis of retreat’ away from the stress of everyday life. Here both men and women can enjoy separate treatments in a warm and comfortable environment that soothes with the sound of running water, with expert masseurs on hand to rejuvenate and reinvigorate tired muscles. Hailing from Morocco, Turkey and Tunisia, these masseurs are highly trained and provide a variety of treatments and rituals including a traditional Moroccan massage, the complete Oriental treatment, the Royal Hammam and much more.

The One&Only Royal Mirage offers golfers the ability to play at a variety of different nearby 18-Hole golf courses and clubs, and there is also the option of playing on a putting green. Tennis fans can enjoy access to floodlit courts, and you can also enjoy basketball, volleyball and water sports.

This offers casual all-day dining from an a la carte menu – including the chef’s recommendation of braised lamb shank – and has a bougainvillea-covered terrace overlooking the palm-shaded pool that generates a relaxing ‘coastal cafe’ feel.

Tagine offers a traditional Moroccan experience and is open for dinner only. With a mouth-watering a la carte menu including roasted lamb shoulder with cumin, this restaurant will give your taste buds a real treat and leave you wanting to go back again and again.

Celebrities

With a fresh new design, Celebrities features stylish architecture with impressive crystal chandeliers and stunning views of The Palace Esplanade. Offering breakfast and an a la carte dinner menu, this elegant restaurant boasts a sleek marble bar, outdoor chill-out lounge and a private dining room with grand mirrors and an outdoor wooden deck with beautiful garden views. A Tapas menu is also available here, and a wide variety of world-class wines perfectly complements guests’ favourites and European-inspired dishes.

Beach Bar & Grill

The Beach Bar & Grill is situated between golden sands and lush gardens and offers stunning views of Palm Island. Open for lunch and dinner, here you can enjoy freshly grilled seafood including lobster and tiger prawns, plus mixed kebabs and prime steaks.
