A highlight is Ba’theli Lounge & Restaurant, which is the only restaurant in the world set on a boat in a lagoon, serving mouth-watering gourmet dishes inspired by the Maldivian Spice Route. There is also a beachfront grill serving fresh seafood and superb meats, alongside a Teppanyaki table. For an informal dining experience on a deck next to the ocean, Ocean Restaurant is the place for delicious international a la carte meals. Milaidhoo Island is set at the heart of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, which includes Hanifaru Bay and a pristine coral reef, inhabited by dolphins, manta rays and whale sharks. Hanifaru Bay is the place to head to spot the world’s largest groupings of manta rays, as well as whale sharks. Guests of Milaidhoo can join an excursion to Hanifaru Bay with a group or just the two of you, accompanied by the resident marine biologist. Surrounding Milaidhoo Island is a coral reef, which offers incredible diving and snorkelling experiences.
