An idyllic couples-only retreat, Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel is set on a cove in Anse la Raie, on the northern shores of Mauritius.
A member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, the hotel is intimate and discreet, created specifically for adults only who are seeking a romantic island getaway. There are 75 contemporary-style rooms, each with a four-poster bed, colonial-inspired décor and a balcony or a terrace overlooking the lagoon.
Leading to a secluded white-sand beach and exclusive sheltered cove is a tropical garden that surrounds the hotel, with fragrances of frangipani and bougainvillea accompanied by multi-coloured hibiscus, trees and plants. Situated on the peninsula is the hotel’s infinity pool, which offers spectacular views of the Indian Ocean and the northern islands. There is also a second pool in the resort, along with thatched ‘love nests’ for private moments
Perfect for honeymooners on a luxury holiday to Mauritius, at Paradise Cove guests have a choice of tailor-made experience for two, including couples’ treatments at the spa, candlelit dinners on the beach, stargazing and boat trips. What’s more, there is also a PADI-certified dive centre, plenty of watersports, tennis courts, a fitness centre and lots of excursions.
There are four gourmet restaurants and two bars, including a mouth-watering seafood restaurant and a cliff-top bar offering jaw-dropping island views – the perfect sundowner location. The lively esort of Grand Baie is only 10 minutes away, too, should you wish to explore further.
