Open daily, The Spa will draw its inspiration from the Shangri-La legend, which is based around a place of personal well-being, enchantment and peace. It will offer 10 treatment rooms that are set within a secluded area of the resort and surrounded by lush green tropical vegetation, with treatments including Chinese and Ayurvedic. The Spa philosophy will incorporate body massage, stretching, hydrotherapy and meditation, all of which will come together to assist in the rejuvenation of body and mind.

The golf course at Shangri-La’s Le Touessrok Resort & Spa, Mauritius, is renowned as being one of the finest in the world and is separated from the mainland resort by a turquoise lagoon. Designed by Bernhard Langer, it is an 18-hole championship course that has received a variety of accolades including being listed as one of the ‘Top 10 courses in the world’ by Golf World Magazine. The Clubhouse overlooks the 18th green and is open to all guests, with Langer’s Grill providing an open and relaxing space in which to enjoy lunch. A health centre is also going to be available daily, with personal training services on offer and special programmes for swimming, tennis, golf and more. The Tennis Club will provide four floodlit courts and qualified instructors from the Advance Team Academy, whilst other land-based sports to enjoy will include football, volleyball, badminton, tai chi and yoga. Those looking to enjoy water sports will be able to choose from a wide range of motorised and non-motorised activities such as Kayaking, sailing, pedal boating, snorkelling, windsurfing, water-skiing, big game fishing, parasailing, canoeing and much more, with PADI and CMAS Scuba Diving Courses also on the menu.

This will be open daily to provide a variety of fun and imaginative activities for children aged 4-11. A large and well-equipped clubhouse will allow them to participate in golf, tennis, windsurfing and swimming and a large selection of dishes will be on offer at lunchtime. Educational excursions are also going to be included and there will be babysitters available on request for children below the age of 4. A Teen Club will cater for 12 to 17-year olds, with themed evenings, sports, discos and much more to be enjoyed.
